Invisalign and clear aligners in Lucknow
Clear aligners straighten teeth with a series of thin, removable, nearly invisible trays instead of brackets and wires. At OrthoalignX, an MDS orthodontist plans each aligner case and checks it at every stage.

How they work
Invisible aligners, one tray at a time
Your teeth are scanned or measured and the whole treatment is planned on a computer model, from where your teeth are today to where they will finish. You see this plan before treatment starts.
A set of clear dental aligners is made from that plan. Each tray is slightly different from the last and moves your teeth a fraction of a millimetre. You switch to the next tray every one to two weeks.
Every 6–8 weeks you visit the clinic so the orthodontist can check that your teeth are following the plan. If some teeth fall behind, a short set of extra aligners, called refinements, finishes the job.
We provide Invisalign aligners as well as other clear aligner options, and explain which suits your case.

Questions
Invisalign and clear aligner FAQs
Do you provide Invisalign in Lucknow?
Yes. OrthoalignX provides Invisalign clear aligners at our clinic on Aishbagh Road, Lucknow. Treatment is planned and monitored by an MDS orthodontist.
Are Invisalign braces and invisible teeth aligners the same thing?
Yes. People often call clear aligners "Invisalign braces" or "invisible teeth aligners", but they are not braces: there are no brackets or wires, only thin removable trays. Invisalign is one brand of these aligners.
What is the difference between Invisalign and other clear aligners?
Invisalign is one brand of clear aligners. All clear aligners work the same way: a series of thin trays moves the teeth in small planned steps. At the consultation we explain the options suitable for your case.
How long does clear aligner treatment take?
Mild cases can finish in six to nine months. Most cases take 12 to 18 months. Wearing the aligners 20 to 22 hours every day keeps treatment on schedule.
Can I eat with aligners in?
No. Take the aligners out for every meal and any drink other than plain water. Brush your teeth before putting them back in.
Will people notice I am wearing aligners?
Most people will not. Aligners are thin and clear. Small tooth-coloured bumps called attachments may be bonded to some teeth to help the aligners grip; these are hard to see.
Can aligners fix every case?
Aligners treat crowding, gaps and many bite problems. Some complex cases, such as large jaw differences, are better treated with braces. The orthodontist tells you at the consultation which option will give the better result.
Do I need a retainer after aligners?
Yes. Teeth tend to move back after treatment, so a retainer worn at night keeps the result in place.
