Dr. Gulnaz Hussain is an orthodontic and dentofacial orthopaedic surgeon. She holds a BDS, and an MDS in orthodontics from King George's Medical University (KGMU), Lucknow. She is a gold medalist and a former senior resident. She is a member of the Indian Orthodontic Society and plans braces, Invisalign and clear aligner treatment for children, teenagers and adults. Patients who prefer a woman orthodontist can book with her directly.

What does MDS in orthodontics mean?

MDS (Master of Dental Surgery) in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopaedics is a three-year specialist degree taken after BDS. It covers how teeth and jaws grow and how to move them safely with braces, aligners and other appliances.

What is MIOS?

MIOS means Member of the Indian Orthodontic Society, the national body for orthodontists in India.
